Major League Relief

I’ve been playing Major League Baseball since 2001 and have had the privilege to play for the Phillies, Twins, Red Sox and am now with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  In 2011, I had the honor to win the World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals.  However, through all of these great years of playing Major League Baseball, my body has taken a beating.

When I first came to see Dr. MacAdam, it was because of my low back hurting in the off season.  But now that he has helped me with my low back pain, I continue to see him during the regular season.  His care helps me stay as healthy as possible during the season and bounce back quicker when injuries do occur.  Whether it’s my back, hip, ankles or just to keep playing at my highest level, Dr. MacAdam has made a difference.  I also have got a lot of benefit from seeing the Acupuncturist and Massage Therapists at Dr. MacAdam’s office.  Having all of these specialties under one roof and so close to my home has been great not only for me, but for my wife and kids too!

Family Wellness

I personally have been going to Dr. MacAdam for wellness care for 15 years. My belief in chiropractic care has grown because of my experience with him. I saw Dr. MacAdam and his staff through all 3 of my pregnancies. It helped so much with my lower back pain, swelling, deliveries and recovery.

Pitching Pain

Before Dr. Mac, I had been experiencing lower back pain constantly for three years.  Nothing seemed to work or ease the pain.  Being an athlete, I am always doing something physical whether it is lifting, running or training.  The back pain made it really difficult to perform at my highest level day in and day out.  Some days the pain wasn’t too bad, but other days I would barely be able to get out of bed. Even the most menial tasks like walking and sitting caused me pain.

20 Years of Military Work!

A big part of my job requires me to lift heavy weapons like this Mark 19 40mm grenade launcher weighing 77lbs.  I am currently a US Army Infantry Weapons Repairman. Living with lower back pain and stabbing sharp pain in my middle back became a way of life for me.

Improved Golf Game!

I crawled to Dr. MacAdam’s clinic in crisis.  I could barely get off the couch and I had my annual golf trip to Bandon Dunes less than a month away.  Dr. Macadam got me back on the course in time to play pain-free and I had a wonderful trip.  That was great, but the fantastic part is what happened a month later.

Digestion and More

Standing for 10 hours a day can wear on a person's neck, back, legs and feet. After seeing Dr. MacAdam, my pain decreased while my endurance increased, as to be expected from a good chiropractor. But I was thrilled to learn that is has also helped me with asthma, acid reflux, poor circulation, headaches, and even the common cold.

Worked Wonders!

I have worked in the IT industry, which means interfacing with computers... usually in a chair all day long,,, for over 15 years. Recently, I started experiencing numbness and in some cases sharp pain in my neck, shoulders, arms and fingers. At times, my fingers would go numb and I would just have to stop working.
